Why the homage to Jesse Crain? Why not have a page about the 'star' or 'big name' player? Why should Jesse Crain not call the police on your stalker-ass-self? I have my reasons.

First, Justin Morneau has his own site. I don't have the exact number but every 15 year old MN girl and Danksy have a page devoted to Joe Mauer. Why should I be like everyone else? Second, it is Jesse Crain. He is a regular guy, and chit-chats with the fans. Not to say other players don't or aren't but I notice it more in Jesse than a few others. Third, he likes Guitar Hero. This is part of point two but it is something more that says 'Hey, this guy who plays fans batters for a half inning is just like me.' He likes his video games. Fourth, he signs autographs for me. What's not to like about that? Fifth, Mike told me to do it or more asked 'Why have I not done a page like this yet?' So I stepped up to the challenge. Lastly, I may stock groceries but I don't sit out in front of Jesse's residence. That's just creepy. I don't even have his posters on my wall. I know fans who are way worse, annoying, stalker-esque than I. Jail time or losing my hobby of autographing are not things I am interested. Lets just hope Jesse sees it my way.

I first met Jesse at a Chammps for a Twins Unplugged. The game that day started a 6-0 1st inning drumming of Boof Bonser who miraclously stayed in the game and held of the Tigers until the Twins picked at the lead to win 6-7. Cuddy was the ring leader of the night and question Blackburn and Crain. When Jesse was asked about Rock Band vs Guitar Hero, he answer Guitar Hero. I thought this would be a good topic that I could relate to a player with. I enjoy Rock Band. So I asked Jesse and he vaguely mentioned something about not like Rock Band so much because of the party feel (i.e. need for more people around) because of it being a band game. He did like the idea of drums though. So now everytime I see Jesse, I give him the heads up on new Guitar Hero/Rock Band games or download. At Twinsfest in 2009, I did the photo booth with Jesse saw me and said "Theres someone familiar, hows it going Rock Band." I thought it was pretty sweet and my plan worked.
